More than 80 film-based companies will be part of the India Inc’s representation in the Cannes Film Festival beginning May 17. The CII will make its fourth appearance at Cannes, supported by the ministry of I&B. Because of the ongoing Parliament session, the I&B minister Priyaranjan Das Munshi is likely to skip Cannes and the I&B secretary will represent the ministry instead.

This year 18 exhibitors from India will showcase their product and projects at the India Pavilion. The objective this year is to promote India as a shooting and post production hub.
