India has come under media criticism for its alleged role in Sri Lanka8217;s domestic politics leading to snap elections and 8216;8216;collaborating8217;8217; with a breakaway faction of Tamil Tiger rebels. The Sunday Leader newspaper, which closely reflects thinking of former premier Ranil Wickremesinghe, said India had a 8216;8216;hidden agenda8217;8217; to oust Wickremesinghe8217;s government and install an administration run by President Chandrika Kumaratunga. It also accused India of helping the rebel Tamil Tiger leader V. Muralitharan. 8212;PTI
