AKOLE, Sept 28: Leader of opposition in the State Assembly Madhukar Pichad has demanded inclusion of the Thakar community in the most backward tribal communities.
Addressing a rally of Thakars at Deothan, he said the Thakars were the most exploited community in the State. He said persons from other community were masquerading as Thakars. Referring to the recent verdict of the Supreme Court related to the Thakar community, he said he would meet the chief minister and the tribal development minister to seek justice for the community.
He threatened an agitation if the problems of the community were not solved during the Nagpur session of the State Legislature.
