HUDA begins removal of hoardings
The Haryana Urban Development Authority HUDA today started its drive to remove hoardings from the main roads in Panchkula. Around 8 hoardings were removed from the different areas of the township 8211; from the dividing roads of sectors 5 and 6, sectors 2 and 5, sectors 2 and 4, sectors 10 and 11, extending up to the industrial area.

8 bottles of liquor seized
The Panchkula police have seized 8 bottles of liquor from Ashok Kumar, a resident of Surajpur. The accused was arrested from the bus stand here. A case has been registered under the Excise Act.

Blood donation camp held
The Gramin Sanatam Dharam Sabha, Ramgarh, organised a blood donation camp on Sunday at Ramgarh. A team of doctors from the PGI, Chandigarh, attended the camp. A total of 65 units of blood were collected, Rajesh Kumar, secretary of the Sabha, stated.

One injured in collision
Sanjeev, a resident of Sector 16, Panchkula, was injured when his scooter was hit by a truck. Truck driver, Birbal, is absconding. A case has been registered under Section 279, 337 of IPC.
