The university had received several complaints of collection of excess fees by these colleges. A committee of the university, comprising members of the managing committee and the Senate had thereafter visited all these colleges and submitted a report to the managing committee. The report has said that barring Rayat Shikshan Sanstha8217;s Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Engineering College, all other colleges had collected excess fees from students. The university has prepared a time-bound programme to repay the excess amount by crossed cheques and has appealed to students concerned to contact principals of their colleges.
