DU nominations
The nominations to the executive council and academic council of Delhi Univeristy were filed today. The elections will be held on December 22. Five candidates have filed nominations for the two member Executive Council. Forty candidates have filed nominations for the 26 member academic council.

Book release
Sweet and Sour, an anthology of short stories by the late Burmese writer, Thein Pe Myint, translated into English by First Lady Usha Narayanan will be released at the India International Centre at 5 p.m. tomorrow.
