Scribes8217; protest march today
The Journalists8217; Association, Chandigarh, is organising a silent protest march in the Sector 17 piaza on Monday morning. The demonstrating journalists will later present a memorandum to the Punjab Governor, a release said. The march is being held to protest against the recent killings of journalists in Delhi.

Rama Chhibber releases Nibhrant
Nibhrant, a special homage issue of college magazine of Dev Samaj College for Women, Chandigarh, was released today by Rama Chhibber, wife of Punjab Governor B. K. N. Chhibber, at the Punjab Raj Bhawan. The issue is dedicated to the memory of S. P. Kanal, a release from the Raj Bhawan said. Rama Chhibber appreciated the efforts of the college to bring out a special issue of the magazine which would help motivate the youth for selfless social work.

Class C, D staff stir enters 14th day
A black badge protest by the members of the Class C and D, Government Museum and Art Gallery Employees8217; Union, Chandigarh, entered its 14th day on Sunday. The Union employees are protesting to press their demands which include new promotion scales. According to the president of the union, the first round of talks between the Director and the members are on.
