Admn criticised for decision on pubs
The city unit of Yuvsatta, at its meeting today, criticised the Chandigarh administration for increasing the liquor vends and pubs in the city. The Yuvsatta president Pramod Sharma said that this move of the administration would encourage drinking habits among youths. 8220;The bad effect on coming generation must be taken into consideration by the administration while trying to make extra revenue by opening up more pubs8221;, he added.

Dharam sammelan from March 22
A six-day Dharam Sammelan will be held from March 22 to March 27 in Sector 20-B Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, according a release of the temple. The function will be held under the guidance of present president of All-India Sree Chatanya Gaudia Math, Trindandi Swami Sree Sreemad Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Goswami Maharaj.

Sat Sabad,8217;a book written by Ganga Das Bagia, was released by Radhey Sharma at a symposium organised by Brehrhal8217;- a literacy organisation. The function was presided over by Sansar Chand, journalist with a Hindi daily.
