Hyderabad, MARCH 16: The last Group C8217; Ranji Super-League cricket match between Hyderabad and Baroda went on predicted lines. The four-day tie ended in a draw at the Gymkhana here today. Hyderabad, despite conceding the first innings lead, qualified to the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy championship.
Although Baroda had slim chances for making to the knock-out phase, they did try to infuse life into this match by setting a target of 283 in 55 overs on the final day. But the home side took the safety path to finish at 104 for four in 54 overs before play was called off in the11th mandatory over.
