HVPN sub-stations commissioned

Similarly, another new 132 KV sub-station was commissioned at Pipli with an installed capacity of 16 MVA along with 106 km-long 132 KV line from 132 KV single circuit Kurukshetra-Pehowa line to 132 KV sub-station Pipli at a cost of Rs 407.92 lakh. It would benefit Partapgarh, Mercheri, Bazipur, Boli, Umri, Jibri, Palwal, Sunderpuri, Kishangarh, Dolatpur, Kheri Gadhian, Kadamani, Bodi and Sidi of Kurukshetra district, according to HVPN officials.

The 132 KV single circuit line from 220 KV sub-station Dadri, which was hitherto connected to 132 KV sub-station Rohtak, was shifted to 220 KV sub-station Rohtak. This will facilitate to and fro flow of power from Rohtak, said officials. The second circuit from 132 KV sub-station Rohtak to 220 KV sub-station Rohtak was also commissioned. The total cost of these works was Rs 20 lakh, they added.

In addition, one five MVA transformer was commissioned at 33 KV sub-station Fatehabad at a cost of Rs 11.3 lakh, benefitting the city area of Fatehabad. As many as 11.4 km-long 33 KV Munak-Kohand line was also completed at a cost of Rs 29 lakh which would feed 33 KV sub-station Kohand under construction in Panipat district.
