HVPN open darbar held

PANCHKULA, SEPTEMBER 15: An open darbar was today organised by the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Board HVPN for listing and on the spot redressal of the grievances of the consumers. The venue of the open darbar was Industrial Area, Phase II, here. All the senior officials of the HVPN were present on the occasion though not many consumers turned up at the venue. Those present mostly had complaints about the billing related problems and in all eight complaints were received. Many people complained that their meter bills had been shown locked. R.K. Verma, Superintending Engineer Op circle, Ambala Circle conducted the darbar.

50 saplings planted
The State Bank of India, Panchkula branch, organised a tree plantation programme in the premises of the Bhavan Vidyalaya in Sector 15 today. The programme was inaugurated by school Principal Shashi Bannerji and 50 saplings were planted.
