Hunjan hospital to start orthopilot centre this month

Hunjan Bone and Joint Hospital will launch a new Orthopilot Centre computer-assisted joint replacement surgery and will be conducting live surgery with orthopilot navigation system on November 15 at the hospital situated on Kochar market road.

Hunjan Bone and Joint Hospital will launch a new Orthopilot Centre computer-assisted joint replacement surgery and will be conducting live surgery with orthopilot navigation system on November 15 at the hospital situated on Kochar market road.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Dr Hunjan told mediapersons that orthopilot used infra-red camera, computer with sophisticated software to provide the real time, patient-specific information during surgery while virtually eliminating the need for expensive and radiation intensive CT and MRI scans before the surgery.
