The PMO and the Parliamentary Standing Committee have repeatedly pointed out how the performance of the National Highways Authority of India has slipped and the pace of the road projects has slowed down. With so many red marks on its performance card, some heads are bound to roll and this time it is could be the turn of the NHAI board members. One member has been shown the door for delay in implementing projects in Tamil Nadu, and other members wait to see if it is their turn now.
