HC to get hi-tech security gadgets

In wake of increasing threat to vital establishments from terrorist outfits, the state government has decided to equip the High Court buildings with sophisticated gadgets. The government has sanctioned Rs 3.42 crore for installation of close circuit cameras and other security apparatus in the court premises, a senior police officer said on Wednesday.

The administrative committee of the High Court had earlier requested the government to increase security arrangements at the court premises, including its Lucknow bench.
