PUNE, June 29: Rail traffic on the Pune-Lonavla section, affected on Saturday due to derailment of a goods wagon , was restored on Sunday. However, the schedule of passengers travelling by several Express trains went haywire.
Passengers travelling by the Deccan Queen and Pragati Express faced a 11-hour ordeal. The trains which had left Mumbai on Saturday evening reached Pune in the early hours of Sunday. The derailment of a Pune-bound goods wagon between Malavali and Kamshet stations on Saturday threw the rail traffic off gear.
