Andrew Hall took four wickets on Friday to help South Africa contain Pakistan to 245-8 when heavy rain brought an early end to the third one-day international. The match was abandoned before South Africa could bat and there was no official result. The series, still tied at 1-1, continues Sunday at Newlands. Meanwhile, the ICC has rejected a request by the Pakistan Cricket Board to put back the deadline for naming their World Cup squad, a PCB official said.
