Rajkot, Aug 10: In a total turnaround from his earlier stand, former Mayor Govind Solanki on Tuesday withdrew his resignation from the BJP after a hectic round of discussions with the party leadership.
Solanki had announced his resignation on Monday from the BJP and had also said he would resign as a corporator. Tuesday8217;s events have led many to believe that it was just a move to strengthen his position in the party at the time of election.
