CHANDIGARH, Oct 29: Government Girls Senior Secondary School-8 beat Govt Model School-40 by two goals to nil in under-19 section in the Chandigarh State Inter-School football tournament for girls at Govt Model School in Sector 22, today.

Aarti and Manpreet were the goal scorers for GGSS-8.

In another match Shivalik Public School-41 defeated Guru Nanak Public School-36, 3-0.

Savneet, Sumandeep and Preeti shot one goal each.

St Stephen8217;s School-45 beat Govt Girls School-20, 4-0. Haranchal netted twice while Anushree and Jasdeep Kaur scored one goal each.

In another match GHS-11 blanked GGSS-18 by three goals to nil. Manpreet got two and Bal Ganga shot one goal.

Tomorrow the matches will commence at 9 a.m.
