The Indian Government has taken up the incident of “racist attack” on eight Indian nationals at Muegeln with the German Government. “We have requested the German Government to address this issue and prevent such incidents in future,” said the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs. The German Government has condemned the violence against the Indian nationals in the strongest possible terms and informed that its Prosecuting Attorney’s office has started its investigations into the incident, he said. “Our Embassy in Berlin is in the process of getting in touch with the victims of the attack”, the spokesperson added.
