NEW DELHI, November 24:Six persons, including four wrestlers from Haryana, were arrested yesterday for intimidating voters in a jhuggi cluster in the Hauz Khas assembly constituency last night.

According to an official at the Defence Colony Police Station, the wrestlers — Karan Singh, Pappu, Dina Nath and Jasmer — who are from Panipat in Haryana, were threatening the residents of jhuggi clusters in the Gautam Nagar area. Along with two youths, Chandrasekhar and Raj Singh, they reportedly claimed they were BJP supporters and asked jhuggi-dwellers to leave their homes. The latter were told to return only after the elections got over. One of the residents called up the Defence Colony police. When the police reached the area, the wrestlers were still threatening the jhuggi-dwellers and knocking on doors.
