MUMBAI, JANUARY 15: The country8217;s foreign exchange reserves rose by 178 million to 35.113 billion on January 7 from 34.935 billion in the previous week, the Reserve Bank of India RBI said in its weekly statistical supplement on Saturday. Loans and advances by the RBI to the central government rose to Rs 6,969 crore in the week ended December 31.
