Flowers of the Forest fancied for Derby

Hyderabad, Jan 30: If one watched the Oaks run again, one would notice that at about 2200m, Forest Treasure overtook Flowers of theforest but the Byramji’s stout filly fought back like a tigress.

But one cannot jump to the conclusion that the Oaks winner will put one over Forest Treasure in the Golconda Derby tomorrow. Flowersoftheforest can do it again but she will have to watch out for different tactics by the Camineto filly.

In the supporting event, the Godolphin Barb stakes, the race is expected to be left to Chatelaine, a hot newcomer from Padmanabhan’s yard, and La Unique, who displayed a brilliant finish after being slow off to point here.
