First dengue case reported in Jalandhar

First case of dengue was reported in Jalandhar on Thursday. Kulwinder Singh of Bhargo Camp was admitted to Civil Hospital after his tests reported positive for dengue.

First case of dengue was reported in Jalandhar on Thursday. Kulwinder Singh of Bhargo Camp was admitted to Civil Hospital after his tests reported positive for dengue. However, he was kept under observation in isolation. Civil Surgeon Dr SS Walia, confirming it to be a case of dengue, appealed to the residents to wear full-sleeve clothes and avoid accumulation of water in and around their houses.
