A guard and a peon on duty at the MCD Regional Office in Lajpat Nagar here were assaulted by a group of six unidentified men around 7 pm on Sunday. The assailants tied up the two MCD staffers before ransacking the office. Police sources said it appeared that they were looking for some specific file, adding that the group burnt three files and made off with another three. Police investigations are on.
