NEW DELHI, June 17: Venus Club registered its fifth successive victory in the group A match of the Delhi Soccer Association `A' division league when they routed Shakti Club by five goals to one at the Ambedkar Stadium here today.The highlight of the match was a three goal effort by Venus' striker Zakir who struck the first, fourth and fifth goals in the 13th, 46th and 57th minutes. Susantoo scored the second goal in the 25th minute while Mohd Rashid struck the third goal in the 40th minute.Bikram Singh reduced the margin for Shakti Club in the 48th minute.Venus Club have 15 points from five matches while Shakti Club have a solitary point from four matches.In another group A encounter, Royal Club scored a solitary goal victory over Ashoka Club. The match-winner was scored by Bhuvnesh in the 40th minute.Royal Club have now six points from five matches while Ashoka Club have two points from four matches.At the Nehru Stadium, Victory defeated Uttrakhand 2-0 in group B. Sushil Kumar scored both the goals in the 25th and 35th minutes.Victory Club have ten points from five matches while Uttrakhand have six points in five matches.
