BANUR PATIALA, MARCH 8: A class V examination superintendent Bachan Singh Singh, 35, was murdered on the intervening night of March 4 and 5, according to information reaching here today.
According to police sources, Bachan Singh, a resident of Gardinagar under the Banur police station, went to Rajpura to deposit the evaluation sheets of Class V and his body was later recovered from somewhere between Rajpura and Banur.
The marks on the neck of the deceased indicated that he was strangulated. A case under Section 302 IPC has been registered at Banur police station on a complaint filed by the his son Khushwinder Singh.
In his complaint, Khushwinder Singh said that his father had no enemy.
No arrest has been made so far.
