Bangkok-based adman Nikhil Randeep Hooda behaves boorishly with loving live-in girl-friend Tara Shahana Goswami. He forgets everything: Dates, special moments, even the fact that that evening is the play she has been working towards for the past two years. All through the performance, for which he arrives late, he8217;s thinking of dinner with his clients, not with her. It ends badly. She gets into a taxi angrily, and goes off. And then something happens, which changes everything.

We can8217;t reveal anything more. What we can tell you is that this is another of those could-have-been films. Everything is overstated; nothing is left to the imagination. Randeep as repentant lover boy does what he can, but the real victim of Ru Ba Ru is Shahana, who sparkled in her last outing, Rock On!!. She is made to address Randeep as Baybee and underline all emotions.
