Engineering student jumps to death

Sub Inspector Faqir Chand said that a store-keeper of the Engineering College also saw him roaming around naked on the floor of the Electrical Branch building. When the storekeeper sent a chowkidar of the college to persuade the deceased, he jumped from the building in haste, revealed Faqir Chand. The body of the deceased has been kept in a room at student activity centre of the engineering college. The warden said that as the family of the deceased had not reached here and the police refused to keep the dead body, the college authorities decided to keep the body in the college itself.

Another student of the hostel said that the deceased was a brilliant student and took active part in seminars. Believed to be soft-spoken, Vijay Patel was depressed or the last few days, the hostel sources disclosed.When told correspondent tried to investigate further at the girls hostel, he was told that the girl was left for home.
