EME school Raising Day

VADODARA, April 13: The 35th Raising Day of the EME school was celebrated at the Euguene Stadium on Monday. About 3,000 people gathered on the school ground to mark the occasion.

On this day officers honour their subordinates by eating food cooked by them and on the same table.quot;This is one reason why this occasion is called the quot;Badakhana,quot; said one of the officers. He added that this is one day when people forget differences of rank.

Displays are also arranged by different sections of the school. While the Weapon8217;s Technology Section depicted the history of the school thorough their Rangoli, the Instrument Section projected the achivements of the school since its foundation. The programme concluded with music and short plays by the army officers.
