
MUMBAI, JUNE 19: Edutech Informatics India Ltd has tied up with three institutions in the state to offer computer education. The institutes 8211; Vidya Prathishthan, Yashwant Rao Chavan Maharashtra Open University and Terna Public Charitable Trust 8211; are based at Baramati, Nasik and Osmanabad, respectively.
The group which was operating through a franchise so far has now entered through direct equity participation now. quot;It is signifies a higher level of commitment,quot; said CEO and managing director Pradeep Tripathi. The Informatics group operates in 26 countries and has over 190 specialised computer education centres. In India, it plans to focus on three segments 8211; corporate training, specialised education and computer training. Corporate training is growing business and will account for a major chunk of the revenue, Tripathi said. The group also plans to tap Indian software talent by setting up centres.
