Eighteen-year-old Armaan Ebrahim seems to have fallen in love with the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia. Two years after stunning the Asian racing fraternity with his maiden Formula BMW Asia race win, Armaan used his track experience in securing his first Formula Renault V6 race victory.
Staying clear of James Winslow (Great Britain) and Marchy Lee (Hong Kong) and Seth Ingram (USA) at the first corner, Armaan opened up a six-second lead which settled down to four seconds at the finish line.
However, Armaan’s win was not as smooth as it seemed. With four laps to go it started to rain. After having backed off his pace considerably, with just two laps to go, there was a big crash involving Hafiz Koh.
