Drunk driving 8211; Three vehicles impounded

CHANDIGARH, April 27: In an unprecedented action, the city police have impounded the vehicles of those driving vehicles under the influence of liquor. The three drivers were also arrested.

According to sources, a check point was laid last night in Sector 40 and three drivers were found driving under the influence of liquor above the permissible level. The drivers of a Tata Sumo, Maruti car and a scooter were arrested and their drivers impounded under Section 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
