A senior official in the DoT has applied for voluntary retirement, indicating growing differences within the department over recent decisions in the telecom sector. According to sources, Manju Madhvan, member finance in the telecom commission, has sought VRS. No official comments were available, but sources said Madhvan has sought VRS due to personal reasons.
