MUMBAI, MARCH 16: Dopahar Ka Saamna, edited by Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has tendered an unconditional apology to Minister of State for Home Kripa Shankar Singh.

Following an article published in Dopahar Ka Saamna, Singh had filed a defamation case against Thackeray, Executive Editor Sanjay Nirupam and journalist Sheshnarayan Tripathi.

Following an apology tendered by the newspaper, Kripa Shankar Singh has withdrawn the case. “Since they (Thackeray and others) have stated that they had and have no intention whatsoever to defame me and have tendered unconditional apology, I have withdrawn the case,” Singh said in a statement.
