CHANDIGARH, Feb 7: At The 26th and 27th All Breeds Championship Dog Show organised by the local Kennel Club today it was an opportunity for the city residents to have a look at the most coveted dog breeds. The dog show which was held at the Leisure Valley drew a good number of dog lovers. It was evident as there were many on-the-spot registrations. Komalpreet Singh, the PRO of the Club, informed that there were a total of 226 entries with breeds like Puny Mini, Pinchers, Great Danes, German Shepherds taking part in the championship.

Raja, a German Shepherd, was declared the best dog of the show. A Pekingese owned by Rita and Prabir Auddy of Calcutta was declared the runners-up. Aajkal, a German Shepherd, won the best puppy award.
