Doctors in with politics

Doctor Mahesh Sharma is the family doctor to many a senior BJP leader in the Capital. The chairman of two hospitals in Noida is now in the reckoning for the Gautam Buddha Nagar Lok Sabha seat on a BJP ticket, though this is still not assured. Sharma is not the only doctor to wear his politics on his sleeves though. A well-known orthopedic surgeon in Delhi attracts most of the Communist leaders with broken bones because he is known to swear by his Das Kapital. Chiranjeevi recently got a doctor as one of his key advisers. Hardly surprising in a country perhaps where the Union Health Minister 8212; a doctor to boot 8212; finds it difficult to grow out of his PMK roots.
