Dispute over move to shift school site

PUNE, April 1: Local Congressmen have decided to legally challenge the State Government8217;s controversial decision to shift the reservation for a quot;primary schoolquot; from a prime plot at Prabhat Road to a chunk of agricultural land at Lohogaon, without even informing the elected body of the Pune Municipal Corporation PMC.

Former mayor Shantilal Suratwala today told media persons that a writ petition would be filed in the Mumbai High Court tomorrow by Advocate K R Shah on behalf of party activists, Mihir Thatte, Shrikant Gosavi and Girish Patel.
