Among the lakhs of people marooned in the Kosi flood are the families of the domestic helps of two senior BJP leaders, apparently including those of L K Advani8217;s chef. But despite their party being in power in the state, the influence of these leaders so far has not helped the families of these helps. BJP leaders are making desperate calls to their counterparts occupying powerful positions in Bihar to do something, but there is no way one can 8220;prioritise8221; evacuation in such trying times. The two leaders have been assured that all that is possible is being done, and to their credit, they are not pressing beyond a point.
