DF Govt likely to move trust motion today

NAGPUR, DECEMBER 23: The Democratic Front DF Government in Maharashtra is contemplating to move a trust motion in the State Assembly tomorrow, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh disclosed here today.

Speaking to mediapersons following the election of DF nominee Pramod Shende as deputy speaker of the Lower House, he said a decision regarding the trust motion would be taken by tomorrow morning.

When asked whether the ruling front would launch a probe for the reported cross voting during the deputy speaker8217;s election, Deshmukh said 8220;Votes of DF are intact and there is no need for an inquiry8221;.

The ruling front has received two votes less compared to votes polled by it during the Speaker8217;s election on October 22 last.
