CHANDIGARH, May 1: Chandigarh Four Wheeler Tempo Union CFTU has charged the Administration of being unfair while carrying out demolitions in the Grain Market last evening.
Union president Harinder Singh said that they had been operating at the same place since 1979 and had submitted several representations to the administration, pleading for the provision of a suitable place, but nothing had materialised. He alleged that some officials had connived with the leaders of other tempo unions as was evident from the fact that the latter had been allowed to stay there.
