NEW DELHI, March 11: Holders Kerala, runners-up Punjab, Delhi and Maharashtra today stormed into the semi-finals of the 27th National Women8217;s Handball Championship in Roopnagar, according to reports reaching here. The semi-final line-up is: Kerala vs Maharashtra and Punjab vs Delhi.
Delhi moved into the semi-final with a 12-5 victory over Madhya Pradesh. Suman topscored for Delhi with five goals while Harpreet and Kavita got four goals each. Nita was the star performer for MP. She scored all the five goals. Punjab maintained their winning spree by routing West Bengal 30-5. Kerala outplayed Chandigarh by 26-3. Sajitha and Shelly contributed six goals apiece. Sridevi swelled the winners8217; tally by scoring five goals.
