Delhi Assembly appointments

NEW DELHI, December 29: Leader of the Opposition Rambabu Sharma was elected to the Standing Committee and Shalu Malik was elected to the Appointments Committee on Monday. Both positions had fallen vacant after the former leader of opposition, Dr Narendra Nath, was elected as MLA. Congress councillor Tarsem Bansal has been made a member of Special Hindi Committee and Variyam Kaur has been made a member of Law and General Purposes Committee. They will replace Congress councillor Mahabal Mishra, who has also been elected to the Assembly.
