The crowd came alive at the performance of the Mumbai-based metal band 8216;Bhayanak Maut8217;. On December 18, the band performed live at Zaha, Hotel Viva Inn, Chandni Chowk in co-ordination with city bands Abraxas, Prosody, Vyzasa and The Pristine Theorem. The event saw metal lovers, dressed in black, head banging and moshing to their favourite heavy metal music.

Bhayanak Maut or BM as it is known among its fans, is one of India8217;s leading metal band and was formed in 2003. They have proved their grit as they have won many awards for their performance including the ones at the NLS Strawberry Fields in 2004, Limewire-IIT Mumbai in 2005. Another important factor accountable for the band8217;s popularity is that it had played at Great Indian Rock in 2007 in New Delhi, alongside Norwegian band, Enslaved. Members of the band include Vinay Venkatesh, Sunneithvocals, Rahul Hariharandrums, Venkatraman, Aditya Nairguitar and Vinit Baruchabass. Bhayanak Maut has two albums to its credit-8216;Hell is all the people8217; 2004 and 8216;Malignant8217; 2006.
