DDCA sports panel

NEW DELHI, August 24: The following 10 members have been elected to the sports committee of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) elections which were held here yesterday. As many as 108 of the 113 affiliated clubs cast their votes to elect their representatives for the new season.

The elected members, with the number of votes polled are: Ashok Sharma (Ravi Brothers, 70 votes), M K Sharma (Inborn, 69), P S Chauhan (Pusa Youngsters, 68), Anil Chaudhary (Darling, 67), Brij Mohan Gulati (Delhi Police, 65), Ajit Singh Madhok (Tilak Nagar Colts, 61), Vinod Tihara (L B Shastri, 61), Ramesh Sachdeva (Friends, 58), P K Soni (LIC, 56) and Pradeep Kashyap (Malviya, 51).
