PATIALA, July 30: The Sangat Darshan organised at the Deputy Commissioner8217;s office here yesterday, received a major boost when the Deputy Commissioner, Jasbir Singh Bir, claimed to have solved all the 30 complaints brought before him.
The Deputy Commissioner, while listening to the problems of the complainants, ordered the officials of the concerned departments to take effective steps for quick solutions. He ordered the district development and panchayat office to clear the cases of Shamlat lands concerning the villages of Rohar Jagir and Bhanraand for the auctioning of the common land of village Gheoura.
Dev Raj, a member of panchayat from village Balbehra, complained against the village sarpanch regarding encroachments on the common land in the village. The Deputy Commissioner ordered an immediate enquiry into the issue.
Other officers present during the programme were Capt R.S. Randhawa, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Gagandeep Singh, ADC development.
