PUNE, Aug 30: Crossword Bookstore has invited entries for The Crossword Book Award 8217;998217;. It has declared two awards 8211; one for Indian English fiction and for an Indian language fiction translated into English.
Both awards carry a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh each. The award is for books published in India between the period September 15, 1998 to September 14, 1999. The award is for Indian citizens and only publishers can nominate entries for it. Entries have been invited before August 31 at Crossword, Sohrab Hall, first floor, behind Pune Railway Station.
