PATNA, SEPT 19: A criminal case has been filed againt RJD chief Laloo Prasad’s elder brother in his home town of Gopalganj. In the petition, Gulab Yadav has been accused of gouging out a youth’s eyes.

According to officials, Bhandari Roy of Chathu Bathua has filed a petition before the chief judicial magistrate OG Gopalganj, charging Gulab Yadav with beating and gouging the eyes of his son Prahlad Roy. Gulab runs a transport company, Pradeep Travels. Bhandari too has his own vehicle and it runs on the same route.

Prahlad had reportedly been opposing Gulab’s alleged high-handedness. On September 11, Prahlad had an altercation with Gulab who, according to the official version, threatened him.
