One Rakesh Dhawan Punjabi, a resident of Ma Ambe Hostel on VIP Road, complained to the police that his moped (M-14/1297) was stolen by from the hostel premises on Saturday afternoon. The Karelibaug police have registered a case and are investigating.

Chain snatched
Two scooter-borne miscreants snatched a gold chain worth Rs 10,000 from Hasumatiben Kantilal Shankarlal Shah’s neck, while she was returning from Govardhannathji temple in Ambalal Park on Saturday evening, the police said. A case has been registered and is being investigated.
