Boy missing
A 14-year-old polio affected boy has been reported missing from the Lambe Hanuman area of the city, the Varachha police stated on Monday. Jayesh Mathur Ahir was last seen on Saturday morning by his parents, who lodged a case in the police station after searching for the boy. Describing the boy to the police, his father Mathur Ahir, a resident of 218 Jagdishnagar Society, L H Road, told the police that he has a bad right leg and was wearing brown clothes when last seen.

Beaten-up
A person who raised an objection against three drunk youth standing in front of his house was bashed up and slashed with knives by them. Sukha Nathu Rathod, a resident of Khadi Falia, Limbayat, told the police in his complaint that Kirit Gaikwad, Bhasker Madrasi and Ramiyo bashed him up and slashed him with sharp edged weapons on his face, chest, arms and back.
