The police say that the accused are involved in two murders, eight motor vehicle thefts and a case of chain-snatching. The police are likely to make more arrests as the investigation progresses.

According to Najafgarh police officials, the arrest and interrogation of one accused Satish led them to the gang8217;s numerous hideouts.

Satish reportedly confessed to a murder at Dabwali and also admitted to his involvement in the Balwan murder case.

The remaining four members of the gang were arrested during the raids. Two of them, Subash and Dalbir, were also found to be involved in the Dabwali and Balwan murder cases. The five have reportedly confessed to their participation in all the cases registered against them.

Meanwhile, the central district police claim to have arrested two alleged robbers and have also seized two knives.

According to the police, the duo had been active in north Delhi, New Delhi and the central district. The two have been charged under the Arms, NDPS and Excise Acts. The police say that six cases under the Arms Act are registered in the name of Naresh, who is one of the accused, while Mukesh is reportedly involved in six robberies and cases under the Excise and Arms Act. The two were arrested on October 9 when they reportedly attempted to rob two persons at Paharganj. They cornered Mohammad Sajjad and Mohammad Aslam and threatened to stab them if they protested or raised an alarm. The accused were arrested by a constable who happened to be patrolling the area.
